Halloween 2010-grownups!

These silly two guys! They had so much fun and even won $100 to split between the two of them in a costume contest. Pretty awesome!

We had so much fun before we even went out! It was a fun night, but I am very thankful I don't drink like a fish any more (except on special occasions!) cause I don't feel very well today. It makes me wonder how we all survived in college! I have been pondering if I spent most of my college days feeling like I do today, and why I thought it was so worth it to feel like this! Don't get me wrong, I had a BLAST last night, but wholy man I am totally paying for it today!

There was a first for me last night, in the small town we live in my friend and I payed $14.50 for two shots. TWO shots! I almost peed my pants when the bartender told me that! I don't know if I have ever paid that much, even in NYC or Baltimore. And it was for buttershots and Irish Cream, not some high dollar stuff either. Shortly after that we moved places so we could actually afford to stay out a little longer! How much have you ever paid for a drink?

Did you go out last night? Did you have as much fun as we did?

Trip...

I just got back from a trip about 2 1/2 hours away from home. I used to go to college in this fun little town, and I went up there to see my friend Aryn. She was visiting from Virginia this past week, so I got to go stay the night at her mom's house with her. Let me just tell you, we had an absolute blast! She is a very spunky lady, and we have a lot in common, and also a lot we agree to disagree on...but the most important thing is that we can have conversations about a lot of different topics, without getting mad at eachother. I only get to see her about 1 time a year (and that's if we are lucky!).

Aryn also gave me some really great ideas for some projects I have had in mind...so I think I will probably try them out! :) Have a great day...next week I will do Aloha Friday again...
What do you and your girlfriends do when you hang out? We went to dinner, and played with the kids then stayed up til 1 talking. LOVE OUR KIDS, also LOVE WHEN THEY ARE SLEEPING AND WE CAN HAVE A CONVERSATION! :)

Tribute...

This post, and these pictures are a tribute to one of my best friends-Melinda.

Let me explain...I am a hoodie type of girl. I like jeans, cute shirts with a hoodie sweatshirt over it and boots (and in the summer flipflops!). I like to get dressed up sometimes, but lets face it, we live in Wyoming and there aren't that many places to go all dolled up.

Now my friend Melinda is a dresser upper. She likes jeans too, but she wears cute tops, and if it's cold outside then she puts on a cardigan. If its not cold outside she puts on a cardigan. She likes the way they look, and it makes her look very classy.

I like the way cardigans look too. Just not on me. I think I look silly. Very silly!

So I went to Wally world the other day, and of course they are getting rid of all of the winter stuff, and they had cardigans on sale in the baby section. I only have zip up hoodies, and while they look cute, they are not very functional, especially when she is laying on the floor, or I have to put her in the carseat. So I bought one. I may go back and buy another one in a bigger size since it is so cute!

The best thing was that I could put her in a cute short sleeve onsy (of the millions I have that she hasn't really been able to wear since it's still cold here) and then put this cardigan over it.

Now tell me if you think she is just so cute! (Cause I definately do, but I may be a little biased!) ;)

So here is to Melinda and maybe Marlee will learn Melinda's cute style instead of her mommy's frumpy one!

(Oh and mind you, Daddy was taking the pictures...Mommy would have moved the cardigan out of her face, and not had it buttoned all the way up!)

I love her little jeans! They are so long on her, but it is so cute!
