I won't be needing anyone's advice on water breaking, because I am going to have a c-section in the morning. I just found out today, so it's a little crazy around here, but I am sure it will all work out just fine. :)

Questions...
How many of you Mom's out there had their water break at home..or in public?
I know, I jumped right into that one...but when I had Marlee, I got induced, and they broke my water. And MOST people I have talked to have had their water break at the hospital-by the doctor, even though they went into labor and had contractions on their own.
So I just want to know, if I am at the store, or at music, story time or any of those other places, and my water breaks, is it going to look like I actually peed my pants...as in A LOT of water, or is it going to be just a little bit?
I thought the 2nd time around, I would feel more prepared. I don't. I feel just as crazy as before, only I know what it feels like to actually have the baby. Otherwise, I am going with: I need diapers, wipes, clothes and blankets, and of course the car seat. Everything else will fall into place.
For myself...I am figuring whatever I forget Mike can come home to get pretty easily since we live about 5 minutes from the hospital. And I'll have to be there for a few days.
What was a must have in your bag for the hospital?

37 Weeks
I am now 37.5 weeks...but this picture is from Sunday. I am as big as a house. Or at least that's how I feel. :)
Don't mind our crazy hair. I had mine in a pony tail and then decided to take it out, thinking it would look better...it did not. LOL
Every time Mike looks at me these days he just giggles. He keeps telling me it looks like I have a basketball in my belly. So Marlee, asked while we were taking the pictures if she could see the basketball too. We had to laugh. Although in this picture with my hoodie, it does look like I shoved something in there, not that it's my actual belly. :)

Just a little note...
I just want to say, we have had one birthday party down and we have one more to go tomorrow. Will post about both tomorrow...am too tired tonight.
BUT, wanted to say, because I am kinda proud of this...that at 35.5 weeks, I am ONLY at 25 pounds (with Marlee I gained 40 +), AND I still have 3 pairs of REGULAR jeans that fit. Oh, and my yoga pants...but those don't really count do they. :)
I am not trying to be boastful...I just want to remember this...because as of late, I have been feeling like a giant whale. And since I went to the doctor today, and found out I am only at 25 pounds, it made my day...even though right after that EVERYONE I talked to kept looking and commenting on my belly...I think it was the shirt. Even Mike asked me if my belly had grown since last night....stinker! :)
So I am doing a little happy dance... :)
On another note, my doctor told me that now you can go til 42 weeks before they think they need to deliver...because I hadinnocently jokingly asked him if we could deliver this little man next week. And he said I still had 7 weeks left...to which I about peed my pants. I said, umm, no I am at 35 weeks...which means I am at 4.5 weeks left. And he replied that he was going not going to let me have this baby early...and that I was probably going to to go 42 weeks. Thankfully my doctor is someone I know-outside of his practice, so I am pretty sure he was joking for part of it (and no, I don't really want to deliver next week...I am not stupid, and do know the risks). But man am I getting uncomfortable. I don't really remember being this uncomfortable last time. He is either in my ribs, or on my bladder...he's not really any where in the middle EVER.

Baby wearing...
I have been looking into things I may need, or want this time around. I have a baby bjourn front carrier already, but am looking into getting a baby wrap or something like that.
Has anyone used one before???
Any suggestions?
I am just thinking for all the places I want to still be able to go with Marlee, but not necessarily have to carry the car seat around, a baby wrap might be awesome. I just have no idea where to get them...that aren't $160 or more...or if they are even all that much. Who knows.
When I had Marlee, I had no interest in baby wearing.

Christmas morning part 2
This is going to be mostly pictures. :) Mike's parents came over for breakfast and to open presents, and then later in the day we went to Mike's Grandpa's house for lunch-ish.
On Christmas day, I am now at 31 weeks...and in this picture I was just being silly. :)
Trying to get a picture of me and Marlee...
My sister had given us this very pretty dress but Marlee wanted no part of it. So, to get her to wear something cute, I had to also wear a dress...
When I put it on, she said Mommy look, now we are both princesses! And we did some twirls together. It's the little things in life that make her happy...at least for now. :)

Names...
As ya'll know, Mike and I haven't come up with a name for this little one in my belly. We only found out he was a boy a little over a week ago, and I guess we were kinda waiting til we new boy names or girl names.
IF you know me In REAL LIFE, or on FB, please don't say anything about these names, because we aren't actually telling people yet, and I won't be announcing it on FB for a very long time...possibly not until he is born.
The other thing, is that I have no idea if we will go with either of these names, we can't decide on either one because I like one, and Mike likes the other.
I am not going to tell you who likes which name, because I just want your opinion. Which is ironically why we aren't telling everyone and their dog the names, but I trust ya'll, and I can't see your face when you read these. Gosh, I sound like they are horrible names...they aren't. LOL
Which would you go with???

24 weeks
It's so funny to me that they say you are pregnant for 9 months, but it's 40 weeks. Clearly, 40 weeks= 10 months. So when I was asked today how far along I am, I said 24 weeks. The person said, oh, is that 6 months? I said, well I don't know. Some people consider it 6 and some people consider it the beginning of 7.
What do you think? Is it 6 months or 7 months?

Here are a few things that are happening now...
- This baby kicks a lot.
- He still can do flips
- He weighs (according to the sono tech) about 1.4 lbs
- I am still in my pre-prego pants...well most of them, but when I come home, or am just hanging out at home, I hang out in my sweats, or my yoga pants because they are more comfy.
- Today at church a lot of people asked me if I was pregnant...apparently up til now, I have pretty much been hiding it. :) (Mainly I have been wearing zip up hoodies, so they cover up the belly pretty well I think.)
- I still feel good.
- I haven't been exercising near enough. Now that the time change has done it's thing, I think I am going to try to go to the gym in the mornings before I have the other little boy I start watching again tomorrow. I just want to walk, but sometimes it's been too cold...or at least that's my excuse. :)
- I don't have any cravings...or at least weird ones...I just have been drinking a ton of eggnog, but I love eggnog anyways, so I don't think it's weird.
- I am starting to notice that BOY things are mainly sports related. While Mike loves sports, I do not. I don't necessarily want him to be dressed in all sports stuff, while some of it is cute.

Ha ha, fooled ya!
November 1st, has proven to be cold day. We have snow on the ground again (for the second time this fall) and it's still coming down.
Marlee was a little nervous at the doctor for me. :) But, she did great, and was excited to learn that she is going to have a LITTLE BROTHER. :)
So, if you didn't catch that, it's going to be a boy. :)
We almost didn't find out because his foot was in the way the first 3 times she tried to look. He wasn't very cooperative as far as the pictures go...he didn't want to show us his face very much.
We are excited! But now I am just wondering if Karen or Stef want to send me all their baby boy clothes. LOL Just kidding.

Denial...
I have been in denial for a while. Well, more like just telling myself not to get too excited and denial. ;) I told you all about my friend who lost her baby at 15 weeks. Well, that happened a week or so after I found out I was pregnant. So needless to say, it's been on my mind. A. LOT. with this pregnancy. I have kinda just told myself not to get too attached because anything can happen (and still can if I am realistic about things).
But I don't think I can be in as much denial any more...
I still am in kinda denial that I am "showing" although this picture did make it more real for me. LOL I think it just looks like I am a little chubby. I mean people who don't know me, or don't know I am pregnant might wonder in their brain, but they (at least it hasn't happened yet) won't ask me if I am pregnant any time soon. :)
Hope you guys have a wonderful day! We are just "washing" dishes. Really, I put soapy water in the sink, let Marlee rinse off a start of the dishes that just need all the dust rinsed off, and am now going to hang out a while before my little girl I started watching comes over. Thankfully she's only 4 months, so I don't have to worry about her getting into anything. It will be so nice when everything is washed, dried and put in it's new spot. Then I can actually tackle the rest of my house. :)
