Not to jump the gun...

but if I have a boy I am planning on using one of these fabrics to use for a quilt for him. I saw it at Walmart, and clearly I couldn't wait for 12 more weeks to buy it, by then it would be all gone.

quilt 1...or something...

I'm not sure if this merrots a quilt, but I made this for one of my friends who is due pretty soon. I did the rag squares top, and then I did a flat backing, but there isn't any batting in it, and the top and bottom aren't quilted together...so does that make it a quilt or not? I'm calling it a quilt! LOL

The polka dots is the folded over part...which is the back (in case you are wondering since it looks a little funny in the picture).

Do you remember Brooklyn's quilt? The rag square one? The one I LOVED! My favorite colors, my favorite quilt of all time (probably because it was the first quilt I have ever finished!). This one...

Update: I am updating part of this, and taking some out.

I did let her know that I didn't like the color of thread. Gavin's quilt thus far looks awesome...I got to see it half way done today, and I get to pick it up tomorrow. I am super excited to show you! :) This lady was kind enough to show me how to bind this morning, so tonight I will be binding away! :)
