Shopping...

My sister came to town on Friday night with her two kids. We then went another 2ish hours away to go shopping. I haven't been shopping since our race (well, really shopping anyways) and we had a lot of fun. Next time we want to go sans kids, just because it is hard to drive that far, and have 3 little ones with you, to try on clothes and get down to the nitty gritty of shopping!

I bought Marlee some really cute clothes from the second hand store, and then I bought her a new winter coat (that is bright red and sooo cute!) and two dresses from Target...I LOVE that store! But the closest one is very far away. The kids had fun playing with eachother, and it is always nice to see them! I get to watch Gavin and Brooklyn in about two weeks so Toni can go run another race. This time it will be the half marathon. I wish her good luck, and also tell her she is on her own! :)

So here is what Toni and I hear last night, as Gavin is playing with Uncle Mike and we are in the other room:
Gavin: Brooklyn starts with an "N".
Mike: No it ends with an "N".
Gavin: I said Brooklyn starts with an N.
Mike: It ends with an N bud.
Gavin No, I SAAAID it starts with an N.
Mike: No bud, it ends with an N.
Gavin: You just don't understand what I am saying.
Then he walks away from Mike like he is completely insane! As Toni and I were listening to this we couldn't help but crack up! It also helped that both of us were super tired!
