Marlee is at Grandma and Grandpa's house til tomorrow. She has only been gone for about 30 minutes, but it's so weird! It will be good for her, but it was so weird putting her in the car and watching her ride away. She didn't even cry. She had a big grin on her face and practically yelled "BYE!!!" through the door. I know that she needs to be away from me, or maybe it's me who needs to be away from her, but it still feels strange. I put her in Grandma's car out the front door, came in grabbed the package that needed to go to the post office, and my keys and out the door I went. When I got to the PO I felt like I was missing something!
But, the reason she is staying with Grandma and Grandpa is so that I can sew, sew, sew! I am going to work on Brooklyn's quilt, and if I get that completely done, I will finish cutting out Gavin's and then start putting it together. I am realizing that it is almost November 1st. AAAAHHHH! I have many many things on my list for all the kiddos in my life, but am feeling a little overwhelmed. Also, since I can't actually do the quilting, I need to get these two big things finished and then I can send them off before it's too late and they have to be birthday presents instead of Christmas presents!
Oh, and Halloween is coming this weekend, and I will have to have Marlee partake in those festivities, so I know I won't get much done this weekend.
See you tomorrow! Or possibly later if I actually get it finished!
Are you making any Christmas presents this year? I would love to see what you are making! Maybe I can get more ideas (cause I need more! ha ha).

I was the same way when I sent my little one off and watched her ride away in her car seat. I hope you get all of your sowing done. I am not sure yet what I am doing for the Holidays. Have a great night!
Oh I hope that you have a wonderfully productive time while she is off having tons of fun!!
Yay sewing! :) Have fun!
It feels so weird doesn't it! When I am in the car alone, I always have those moments were I look back and don't see the carseat and panic for a second, lol. Hope you enjoy the time and get a ton done. Have fun sewing!
Hope your getting everything finshed up!
You changed your opening picture and Marlee is getting so big. I remember those times when my boys would be gone, these days I am happy to have that break and they love going to grandma's house.
I would love to make some of my Christmas gifts again but I am not so sure I want to put myself through all the work.
