This is going to be a little bit of everything...cause I can. :)
I am so thankful that March is over. Now it's onto April, and it's starting to get a little warmer around here, and also it's going to be a better month than last month. The grass is already starting to turn green, and much to everyone's dismay around here, I wouldn't mind if it rained for a few days, or if it snowed just a skiff so I don't have to pull out the garden hose just yet. :)
We had a fabulous weekend. It was so nice to get away to visit my family. It had been two long months, and although Marlee has been sick all week, and she was the most sick yesterday, she was so happy to be there with her cousins. She finally livened up today, and is back to her normal self, even though she still has a horrible cough, and a runny nose. I am just hoping she is on the down hill slide.
We played the wii last night, and I have some pretty funny pictures from it. I also got some cute pictures of all the kiddos, so I tonight or tomorrow I will get them up. Right now I haven't even unpacked from our trip. :) We were just hanging out more as a family.
I am super excited for this week-Mike works tomorrow, and then he works half days a few days (unless called in) but I am hoping it gets nice (really just for the wind to stop blowing) and then we can get the rest of the yard picked up. We got one side completely finished, and the other side was raked, but with all the wind we probably have to do it again. But Marlee is getting more and more excited to play outside, and I am in the need of the fresh air! :) I also want to get my garden ready, I probably won't do as much as last year, but I think Marlee will be a lot more help and it will be a ton more fun for her this year.
I also slacked on making any quilts for Feb. or March, although I did work on Marlee's a little bit both months, but need to crank it out and then also get this one started/finished. It will be super easy since it will be a rag quilt, but then I will have 2 done for April, and will be back on track for my 10 tops this year. Next Monday is our craft night so I think I can get the whole thing cut out, as well as Marlee's other squares all squared up, and then I can get them both sewn the following weekend. :)
As for anything else crafty, I just haven't been doing anything. I need to get some other things worked on, but thus far just haven't done it.
I am going to start doing the Mamma's mission, so I will probably type that one up and get it going for tomorrow's post. Mamma Jenn has a great blog, and each month she does a Mamma's mission and link, so that you can get some of your to-do lists done. Go on over to check her out!
Also am thinking of starting an etsy shop. If you didn't stop by the apple attic, you should, to tell me how much you would buy bean bags with numbers/letters on them. I wouldn't be selling the sheep, since they weren't my design, but I was thinking maybe bears (dressed as boys or girls), flowers, and possibly trains. But I don't have any done-another thing on my to-do list. I was also thinking of making some aprons. Which could be personalized with the letter of their name, whole name, or not personalized. Let me know what you think. I have no idea how to do etsy- I haven't even looked into it yet, but was just wanting some input. :)
Hope ya'll had a great weekend! :)

I think that etsy would be a great idea! Start making a few things and have as many as you can when you list! Also, a lot of people like to have personalized things (Like the apron) so you could put an example up and then have them message you details when they purchase something. Etsy is SUPER easy to set up...
So glad that spring is here! The boys wore shorts today it was high 70's... really abnormal!
Here is to a GREAT week!
I love the apron idea! I have wanted to get an apron for Devon for some time but haven't followed through on it, I'd totally buy one off you!
