I wake up yesterday morning to Marlee saying "Mommy, want to go out to the living room?" I am sure it was early...it always is. So I say "In just a minute"...like every morning. She says to me "Mom, we could go out to the living room, and tomorrow we can play like we are making cakes, and you are the mom and I'm the kid."
Then this morning, Mike had to go to work at 4:45 am. At that time Marlee climbed in bed with me, and snuggled up with me and we slept til almost 6. When she woke up, I was still tired, but I rolled over to snuggle with her, and she says to me "Mom, you really love me huh!" What a way for a girl to put a smile on your face! She has been super sweet lately!

so sweet! I remember those mornings when my toddlers were up to early and would snuggle. Too big now at 6 and 8, though my 6 year old still will climb into mylap....visiting from grumpygratefuls hop!
