Okay, so I didn't get quite as many things done on my to-do list as I wanted, but I did get some other things finished that weren't on here. That counts, right? :)
Here are my goals for January:
Get all of little man's clothes washed for at least the first 3 months.

I am saying this one is accomplished, even though I am not 100% sure it is...I think I may have two more boxes to wash from my sister, but as is, I have enough outfits for him to last at least 30 days without having to wear a onsie 2 times. So, I am considering it accomplished. :)
Make my friend Melinda's quilt, and mail it to her, since her baby was born last week, instead of on the 9th like he was supposed to come. :)

This should be completed pretty soon. I cut it all out this week, I just haven't made it back downstairs to sew it together. Then instead of me trying to quilt it I think I will have someone else do it since I have never used my new meandering foot for my sewing machine.
Sew the binding onto Marlee's quilt. And wash it so she can use it. :)

I finished her quilt. I have to re-do the binding because it didn't work quite as well as I wanted it to after I washed it, but it is done, and she has slept with it and loves it. Now to get a picture of the finished product to post on here. :)
To do the dishes every night after dinner so I can wake up to a clean kitchen every day-and hopefully if I get into this habit, it will be just that, a habit to do even once little man comes. :)

I did this for the first few days. Then I slacked off. Mike has been home a lot this month during the day, so it has been harder to keep up with stuff, just because we are hanging out all day. I am much more productive when he is at work. :)
Get all of the letter of the week stuff ready for at least 2 months to start doing with Marlee on Fridays. We are going to start doing a letter a week, with a craft and then also have a little party thing on Fridays with things that start with that letter. I figure if I get this all set up BEFORE little man comes, and implemented, then I can keep going with it once he comes, so that way Marlee will have a whole day of fun things that her and I can do together. :)

I plan on doing this this weekend. I think I will go up to the library to print them all off. Although, it wasn't a complete loss...considering that I do have almost everything I want to do for the first 4 weeks or more all lined up. We just don't have any ink in our printer, and it's a very low priority for me, since I can get copies for way cheaper than I could buy new ink right now...so I just haven't printed it all out.
Now for February's goals....these are going to be short and sweet...
- Get some meals made for the freezer-which should get done next Wednesday, since I am going to do it with a friend. :)
- Implement the alphabet stuff with Marlee.
- If this little man comes in February...get settled with him. :)
- Get some things made for the new little man coming into our life...such as some big receiving blankets. I already have the fabric...now to just get the stuff ready sewn. I also want to make a car seat cover...
- Oh, and get a new car seat for him...
Speaking of car seats and strollers. If you have read my blog for a while, you know that I am kind of a stroller junkie...I have 3...well I have 2 functioning ones, and one that needs to go to the garbage since the straps broke. The stroller that I need to toss was one that the car seat fit into. I also have a double and a single jogger. But, as of right now we have to get a new car seat so I was thinking of getting either another stroller combo...but am looking at possibly getting a double. I know this seems excessive...and it prob. is, but adding the stroller isn't much more than just getting a car seat. My only question is do any of you have a sit and stand, or a tandom double stroller that would be good for when we go on our trips to Vegas, or other places, and for taking it the 2 hours to go shopping...which I can't really fit my double and all the stuff we would need when we go that 2 hour drive. Which is why I was looking at getting something smaller... Or do you think it's a wast of money because Marlee is already 3? I keep going back and forth in my brain about all of these things. Right now when we go shopping in the next town, we don't take a stroller...I just carry her, or Mike carries her if she gets tired. When we go on long trips-like our trip to Vegas, I took my old stroller because she doesn't have to be strapped in...she doesn't try to climb out. But I know with him, I won't be able to carry both of them and all that jazz.
Would love some input. :)

I'm loving this girlie in bite sizes so it doesn't overwhelm you! Way to go girl!
I need to do the freezer thing!
That sounds like a good list of goals.
On the stroller I don't know, Austin hasn't used a stroller since he was just around two. He is so energetic and active and we have yet to tire him out from walking. We did Sea World and The San Diego Zoo sans stroller last year and he was fine. I can't even imagine trying to get him to sit in a stroller now, maybe if anything I would try a sit and stand.
I love our sit and stand. It's so nice to let Devon have her freedom but then if I need to get moving I can strap her in. I think she likes it better than a traditional double stroller too. I got ours at Target, not sure of the brand but I personally didn't do much research before I bought it or anything. I just think the sit & stand concept is nice.
