So without further ado, here are my missions for the month:
- To offer more vegetables instead of always fruit or other things for snacks and meals.
- To get Marlee's quilt finished
- To get all of my fabric organized and put away
- To make at least 2 aprons
- To make home made bread.
- To make extra or another whole meal at least 2 times a week (so that I will have the meal we are going to eat, as well as a meal to go into the freezer, or for dinner the following evening. That way I can build up a stash of freezer meals, so that on those days that it's super nice outside, or I am lazy we will have a dinner already made (I will just have to warm it up) instead of going out to eat or ordering pizza.
I obviously have some other goals this month, but I am hoping that these 5 things specifically get accomplished! I have been slacking in the sewing department lately, and also in the meal planning/making the past few weeks. I think April will be a month to get back into that. Especially since it's still chili here so sometimes it's still cool enough that I can cook for a long time without making our house too hot.
What are you doing this month?

I am SO with you on your last two! I got a bread maker at a garage sale awhile ago and have yet to use it, even though I was so anxious to get one! And the freezer meals... that is exactly how I do it! Just make a double batch or a lot extra and freeze. You will have a good stash before you know it that way! :) Good luck! The hardest part is getting started. So just do it! ;)
Good luck with your goals!! I need to offer more veggies to Jazzy too. I'm completely opposite from you... if I put something in writing then it's a given that I will NOT get it done. Anyway, you always seem so motivated and productive so I'm sure you'll get all your goals done and more this month!!
Love the freezer meal idea too!!
I have always dreamed of being a freezer meal mom.. lol- my mom was and it is such a great idea!
You can do these things! NO sweat :)
It's always great to make a list and put it in writing. You can do it!!!
I like the more veggies!
I should make some extra meals myself. I'm about to start studying for the bar and those extra meals would be nice for the nights when I'm too exhausted to look at the kitchen. And easier on the wallet as well.
Thanks for joining in Brandi! I LOVE the idea of building up a stash of freezer meals. I always think that I have to spend an entire day cooking so that the freezer is full all in one shot. With your idea I could do it gradually! Hmmmm, I think I might just try it! ;-)
