So my goals for January are:
- Get all of little man's clothes washed for at least the first 3 months.
- Make my friend Melinda's quilt, and mail it to her, since her baby was born last week, instead of on the 9th like he was supposed to come. :)
- Sew the binding onto Marlee's quilt. And wash it so she can use it. :)
- To do the dishes every night after dinner so I can wake up to a clean kitchen every day-and hopefully if I get into this habit, it will be just that, a habit to do even once little man comes. :)
- Get all of the letter of the week stuff ready for at least 2 months to start doing with Marlee on Fridays. We are going to start doing a letter a week, with a craft and then also have a little party thing on Fridays with things that start with that letter. I figure if I get this all set up BEFORE little man comes, and implemented, then I can keep going with it once he comes, so that way Marlee will have a whole day of fun things that her and I can do together. :)

That seems like a good and realistic list. I just finished the binding on Austin's quilt last week, I hate that stage. It takes forever and there is nothing fun or creative about it. I need to print up a label and then it is done. Hopefully I will get to that tonight and do a post about it.
Very good and realistic! I like that you are only planning for one month...very smart...when people set huge new year goals they are more likely to fall short of their goals.
wow great idea... I love your Letter of the month.. I should do a list too having a month to do it is a great idea..
got your e-mail and I am going to work on some goals tomorrow... Not feeling too great today.. I think all of the stress and going got me now..
I love your ideas! I need to start doing dishes after dinner too. I always wake up to a huge pile of dirty dishes!
I love the letter of the week idea. Please share your ideas... if you don't mind. I'd love to see what you're doing. I need to start teaching Jazzy her letters too.
The letter of the week thing sounds fun!! Devon knows some of the letters but not anymore than just identifying them on paper. She doesn't know the different sounds they make or anything yet.
I got her some Brain Quest flash cards that she likes to do on the potty and they seem to be helping her out a bit but maybe focusing on one letter for an extended period of time would be beneficial.
